The theme imports the JavaScript library of brand compliant, accessible components created by the WIGG Design and WIGG Components teams.

Certain plugins provide functionality and quality of life improvements for the development and usage of the Illinois WordPress theme that benefit all campus users. The development team will strive to ensure compatibility of these plugins with the theme and brand standards. Advanced Custom Fields Pro

This WordPress plugin is included for developer usage. ACF fields are used to create theme variables and input fields so site owners can customize the header, footer, and sidebar of their sites.

Site owners interested in creating custom content types via ACF can install (but not activate) the free version of ACF via the plugin repository to expose the ACF options in the administration dashboard.
